International Exhibitions 2009
The 12th Buildexpo Kenya International Trade Exhibition to be held in March 2009 is all set to present over 10,000 products, equipment and machinery from over 30 countries. The number of exhibitors and visitors in 2008 is expected to rise by at least 25% since an agressive campaign has been launched while celebrating the event's 12th birthday. Trade visitors from all over East & Central African countries are being invited dirtectly and in collaboration with several regional trade bodies in Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Uganda, Somalia, Mozambique & Zaire. Though Kenya by itself is one of the biggest markets in Africa, major emphasis is being laid upon attracting traders and importers from neighbouring countries. Welcome to the 12th edition of Buildexpo 2009 East Africa, the largest and most prominent Building & Construction International Trade Exhibition attracting exhibitors from over 25 countries and visitors from all over East & Central African countries. Over the past few years, Tanzania has emerged as a major regional trade centre. This is mainly due to a very friendly and business like atmosphere it offers to foreign investors and products. Duties are considerably low and re-exports to neighbouring countries are either very low or exempted. Read more about Tanzania.
The inaugural Full Frontal Tile & Stone Expo (FFTSE) was held in April 2008 at Sydney Showground. Several thousand visitors with a prime interest in ceramic tile, natural stone, related machinery and allied products attended. The second edition of FFTSE promises to be both bigger and better attended. The expo will be staged on 20-22 August 2009 at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre located at Darling Harbour, Australia’s largest and most successful venue for conferences, exhibitions and special events.
Government and private sector infrastructure projects worth US$230 billion will include the construction of expressways, railways, ports and airports, power stations, water supply and telecommunications projects. The Building & Construction Indonesia Series is the country’s only established, international business to business exhibition, serving the major growth sectors in Indonesia’s building industry.
